The construction industry enjoys a long history of close cooperation in apprenticeship and training. This important industry needs to attract the best possible apprentices on the basis of talent and aptitude. If you're the kind of person who likes a challenge, who has the basic talent to move through an apprenticeship and emerge as a resourceful person of specialized training and skill, then you should be thinking about a future in the Construction trades.

 

There are opportunities waiting for you when you graduate from high school in good paying careers. Best of all these careers are open to you even if you do not go to college! You'll need training, but the paychecks can start almost as soon as you graduate from high school. The Construction Partnership membership includes contractors and union business representatives from the construction industry operating in the twelve counties of southeastern Minnesota, including Rice, Goodhue, Wabasha, Winona, Houston, Fillmore, Mower, Freeborn, Steele, Waseca, Olmsted and Dodge counties.

The goal of this labor-management committee is to better address the needs of the construction customer by further developing the relationships between the contractors and the employees.

The Partnership regularly meets on a monthly basis and works to expand the customer base of members.
